Project Details

We designed and developed the website and web application for KindredCare, a Canadian platform that connects seniors with trusted caregivers through AI-powered matching. The solution highlights their caregiving services, ensures a seamless onboarding experience for both families and caregivers, and builds trust with a clean, accessible interface. Our focus was on creating a user-friendly, professional, and compassionate digital experience that reflects KindredCare’s mission of providing personalized senior care.

Project Problems
The previous Kindred Care website lacked a modern and trustworthy design that reflected the brand’s compassionate healthcare values. The information hierarchy was unclear, making it difficult for users to quickly understand services or find what they needed. Conversion rates were low due to weak storytelling and a lack of clear call-to-actions, while the mobile experience suffered from poor responsiveness and inconsistent layouts. Additionally, the brand’s visual identity and tone were not consistent across pages, leading to a fragmented and less credible online presence.

Project Challenges
Creating a seamless and emotionally engaging user experience while maintaining a professional medical tone was one of the biggest hurdles. Balancing warmth and credibility in both visuals and content required careful attention. Another major challenge was restructuring a large amount of information into a clear, intuitive flow that guided users effortlessly to key services. Ensuring consistent performance across all devices and maintaining accessibility standards added further complexity. Additionally, aligning the new design direction with existing brand values and stakeholders’ expectations demanded multiple iterations and close collaboration.

We completely redesigned both the website and web application to create a cohesive, modern, and human-centered digital experience. The new design system was developed to ensure visual harmony and consistency across both platforms, aligning with Kindred Care’s compassionate and trustworthy brand identity. We restructured the information architecture to make service details and patient interactions more intuitive, reducing friction throughout the user journey. The website was optimized for accessibility, responsiveness, and emotional engagement, while the web app focused on improving task flows, simplifying complex processes, and enhancing usability for caregivers and patients alike. Together, these solutions elevated the overall digital experience and strengthened the connection between Kindred Care and its users.
